General Statement of Duties

The City Clerk position performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled operational tasks as a member of the Administration Department. The successful candidate must have the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions as well as work independently in performance of regular assignments. The person that fills this position must maintain good working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and the public. The position requires performance of clerical tasks in an office setting, ability to operate office equipment, ability to effectively operate job-related software, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service. Exercises independent judgement and makes decisions within the scope of each assignment.
